10Gigabit Ethernet

Recent developments in the next generation of high bandwidth networking has produced a draft standard to implement 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper cabling ( 10G Base T ). Originally envisaged as a purely fibre optic technology for the Server Room, 10 Gigabit bandwidth will be delivered on Cat6a Shielded copper cable.
